Chernobyl zone appeared in 1986 as a result of an explosion at the 4th block of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and radioactive pollution of the surrounding territories.

If you wish to learn more about the site and experience the consequences of the disaster, which happened almost 30 years ago – SoloEast Travel is always happy to invite you for a tour of the zone and neighboring villages.

After the impressive Chernobyl trip we offer you to stay overnight at a luxury cottage in a small village close to the zone and have a tour of these areas the next day.

Meet local people and experience their daily life including shopping (going to Ivankiv to Bazar on our famous yellow Lada), and cooking on a stove traditional Ukrainian meals.

Depending on the season of your visit we can teach you to plant or dig potatoes, weed the garden or you can learn The Art of Cutting Hay By Hand.

You can also fish in our pond and cook your fish, sleep in hay or on speech (fire stove), and ride quads or bikes. The tour is available for up to 4 people at any time of the year and can be tailored in accordance with your request.

Know More About Chernobyl:

The Chernobyl power plant, and the nearby workers’ city of Pripyat, now perhaps the world’s most famous ghost town, are usually visited on a day trip from the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv which lies 130km to the south. It’s always safest and easiest to join a guided organized tour. Some tours of the far east of Europe, taking in Moldova, Ukraine, and Belarus, include a day here, but if you want the full immersive experience with plenty of time to look around, then consider a specialist Chernobyl holiday that puts the focus of the trip on this completely unique destination, with time to explore beautiful Kyiv, too.
