Take a day tour from Lviv to visit the three most famous castles in Ukraine: beautiful Zolochiv Castle, most ancient Oleskyi Castle and perhaps most magnificent of them all Pidgoretskyi Castle.
All of them miraculously survived at Soviet times and have been reconstructed to museums.
ITINERARY:
• We depart from Lviv around 10:00
• The first site to be visited is Oleskyi Castle - heritage asset of XIII-XVIII centuries, ex-residence of Polish kings. Today it’s a museum-reserve and branch of Lviv Gallery of Art with unique masterpieces, sculptures, portraits, furniture etc.).
• The next highlight is Pidgoretskyi Castle – well-known heritage asset of late Renaissance, which was built for hetman Konetspolskyi as a place for entertainment.
• The last but not the least is Zolochiv castle built in the beginning of the XVII century. In the yard there are two late Renaissance Big and Chinese palaces.
• Arriving back to Lviv at 6:00 PM
