Take a chance to visit a very inspiring and romantic place in Ukraine – Sofiyivka Park in Uman town. It's a scenic landmark of the world gardening design of the 19th century, one of the most beautiful places, created by nature and human hands, which is now the National Dendrological Park of Ukraine.
Created by the rich Polish magnate Pototskiy for his wife Sofia it’s like an eternal monument to their love. Behind a plan of its creators, Sofiyivka is the embodied illustration of poems of Homer's 'Iliad' and 'Odyssey', where each composition or small architectural form comprises a certain plan, and expresses the idea of a myth or certain event.
Description:
The trip starts from Kyiv at 8:00. We’ll pick you up from your location if necessary.
By 10:30 we arrive at the Park and the romantic adventure begins.
You will be able to enjoy the unique scenery of the site including the Main Alley, Silver Springs, Flora Pavilion, Venetian Bridge, Lower, Upper, and Red Ponds, the "Snake" fountain, Calypso grotto, the Lower Alley, the Assembly Square, the Valley of Giants, the Great Waterfalls, Ithaca Island
Loketek and Nut Grottos, Tempe Valley, Elysian Fields, and others.
We return to Kyiv around 6:00 pm
