Trip To Kamianets- Podilskyi Tour

Kamianets-Podilskyi is one of the most beautiful, ancient, and historical cities in Ukraine. It’s the number one place to be visited after Kyiv and Lviv and the winner of the Ukrainian contest “7 Wonders of Ukraine”.

This tour pkg is designed for those who are interested in cossacks heritage, the genesis of our nationality, the first leaders, etc.

Day 1: Kyiv to Kamianets-Podilskyi

Transfer to the train station from any location in Kyiv or from the airport.

6-hour train to Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Late check-in to the 7 DAYS hotel, TWN/DBL Standard.

Day 2: Kamianets-Podilskyi

Breakfast at the hotel.

Half-day Walking Tour of Kamianets- Podilskyi including:

• The Medieval Castle (16th-18th century) – A mighty fortress designed for military engagement with watchtowers and battlements;

• City Hall (17-18th century) – Which houses the Polich right for centuries;

• St. Peter and Paul’s Church - Famous for its frescoes by Giovanni Santini, Turkish minarets with golden figurines of the Virgin Mary, the monument to Laura Przeździecki, and a massive 972-pipe organ;

• The Dominican Monastery (15th-18th centuries);

• The Armenian Quarter and The Nicholas Cathedral (15th-18th centuries)

Visit to karaoke club Music Hall (optional)

Day 3: Kamianets-Podilskyi - Khotyn - Kyiv

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Half-day Tour of Khotyn including a visit to its fortress, which is known now as one of the most beautiful and ancient sites in Ukraine. It was built in the early 11th century by Kyiv Prince Volodymyr the Great to protect the lands from Galacia-Volyn, Turkish and Polish conquerors. Later the town was occupied by Bohdan Khmelnytsky’s army.

During the tour, you’ll see also the village of trenches, the Traian Shaft, and the great fortress built under Roman Emperor Trajan.

In the evening we drop you off at the train station to take an overnight train to Kyiv.

Day 4: Arrival Back in Kyiv

Arrive in Kyiv and transfer to the city or to the airport.

The cost includes train tickets from Kyiv to Kamianets-Podilskyi, train station transfers in both cities, 2 nights at 7 Days hotel, and guided tours of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Khotyn.

At the hotel, you’re free to use SPA with a pool and saunas. At extra cost massage and Jacuzzi are available.
